Alumni News -

The 2006 Homecoming Game is scheduled for Thursday, October 190th.  Look for future information about all-class events surrounding this date.
If you have lost a 1982 girl's class ring or a 1975 boy's class ring, please contact us.  We have "found" looking for "lost".

The 2006 Memorial Day Ceremony was spectacular.  In addition to honoring current faculty members who had served in the US military, there was a stirring memorial display of the WHS graduates who have passed away while in service to our country over the years.

After the ceremony, WHS Principal Dr. John Dahlem was presented with a US Flag by Congressman Ed Royce's office in recognition of his continuing efforts to keep the sacrifices  of our military personnel present in the hearts and minds of everyone associated with Western High School.

Next Edition -

Now accepting contributions for the Winter 2006 edition of the WHSAA Newsletter.

This is YOUR  publication, all contributions encouraged, i.e. jokes, memories, favorite stories from High School, romantic tales of lost love found... the sky is the limit.

Our Editors are prepared to take your rough draft and fine tune it into a literary work of art.  Submit your contribution by December 1, 2006 to:

Dr. John Dahlem, a great leader at Western High School, and a driving force behind the WHSAA is retired after the end of last school year.

At his retirement party on June 15, 2006, the WHSAA upheld a Western High School tradition by presenting Dr. Dahlem with a white Stetson Hat.
